The school was founded on 8th September 2021 by Mrs. E Gasper (nee Graham), and Dr.Richard Gasper who envisaged an English Medium Co-educational school to promote and disseminate knowledge for the development of the Anglo-Indian community. The school provides opportunities for students who appear for Cambridge Board.
The school has been named after the great Scholar of the Roman Catholic Church, Saint Augustine of Hippo (East Africa).
At St. Augustine's Day School Baranagar, we believe that education is the key to unlocking potential, sparking creativity, and fostering lifelong learning. Our mission is to create a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
We are dedicated to nurturing the unique talents of each student, encouraging them to take ownership of their learning, and helping them develop the skills needed to succeed in an ever-changing world. Our staff is committed to providing innovative and engaging instruction that challenges students to think critically and solve problems collaboratively.
Parents, we value your partnership in this educational journey. Together, we can ensure that our children receive the best possible education and grow into responsible, confident, and compassionate individuals.
Students, remember that you are the heart of our school. Your enthusiasm, curiosity, and perseverance drive our community forward. Embrace every opportunity to learn, explore, and grow, and don’t be afraid to ask questions or make mistakes—it's all part of the learning process.
Let’s work together to make this year a great one, full of achievement, growth, and success.
Thank you for being a part of the St. Augustine's Day School Baranagar family!
